Course Introduction

This introductory level training course teaches the basics of how to use Conformiq AutomatIQ for generating automatically test scripts from manual test assets. It has been designed to enable and assure that users can work with Conformiq AutomatIQ in live, industrial testing projects. In addition to learning how to generate test scripts, students will learn how to review conversions, read and modify the configuration of Conformiq's Natural Language Processing (NLP), and inject Object Repository information into the conversion. .

Anyone can take this course! You can start any time and at the pace you want, i.e., there is no fixed course schedule. Students already registered on the Conformiq training platform only have to sign in with their platform account to open then course. Users who are not registered yet will be asked to register as students on the platform after clicking on the "ENROLL IN M2A-101" button.

This fully automated online course enables students to take and continue taking this course at the time and speed that suits them best. The course consists of a collection of short 10-15 min videos. It currently does not include any certification. Simply watch and practice!

Course Prerequisites

This is an entry level course targeted at test automation engineers that have at least basic experience about scripting within the selected target test automation tool and framework, e.g., Eclipse Java in case of Conformiq AutomatIQ for Eclipse Cucumber Selenium Java.

Stephan Schulz

Stephan Schulz is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Conformiq, product owner of Conformiq’s Enterprise IT product line, former Chair of the ETSI Technical Committee for Methods and Specification, and leader of the review group in the ISTQB MBT working group. Prior to his work at Conformiq from 2010 onwards, he has been already a user and evaluator of MBT tools and worked for 8 years deploying the test automation language TTCN-3 in industry while working as a resident testing specialist at ETSI as well as the Nokia Research Center. Stephan received his Ph.D. from University of Arizona at Tucson, and has been an author and co-author of numerous publications and standards on modelling and testing.
